In 1994 business writer-consultant-guru Tom Peters revealed some Big Secrets near the end of a little essay titled "The Best Corporate Strategy? None, Of Course":
Life is pretty simple: You do some stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works. If it works big, others quickly copy it. Then you do something else. ... and hardly anybody noticed (as opposed to Peters' bestselling books like In Search of Excellence). Maybe the most important Big Secrets have to be found, lived, breathed, rather than learned from a bumper-sticker? Hmmmm...
